Photography is my full-time occupation, having photographed over 850 weddings since 2002.
I will photograph your wedding personally. My vast experience and expertise means your wedding day portraits will be quick and effortless; your wedding day will be smooth and organized; and your photographs will be natural and breathtaking!
Location
Jeff Schaefer Photography LLC is located in Fairfield, Ohio... 25 minutes north of downtown Cincinnati, and 45 minutes from Dayton.
There is no travel charge for wedding photography in the Cincinnati, Dayton, Northern Kentucky, and Southwest Indiana areas, within a 1.5 hour drive.
Photography style
My wedding photography style is a blend of capturing genuine moments, combined with contemporary and classic wedding portraits that feel natural and relaxed.
Your photographs will be vibrant, crisp, and true-to-color. No cheesy sepia or Instagram-type filters.
Natural portraits
My approach to portraits is to set the stage and encourage you to focus on each other as I photograph you naturally. It is a relaxed and comfortable way to be photographed. I'll direct and arrange you as much as you need.
There are some look-at-the-camera-and-smile photographs, but no forced, awkward poses.
My style is a fun and authentic way to be photographed. Your photographs will be spontaneous, fun, romantic, timeless, and will show your personality.

I and the second photographer capture genuine moments… the tears, smiles, hugs, handshakes, and laughter that show the emotions and meaningful connections between loved ones.

I know it's weird having a camera fixated on you all day. But just relax, enjoy your day, don't pay too much attention to me, and trust that I will capture those amazing emotional moments. Just be completely uninhibited with your love for each other, relax, and I guarantee that you'll be thrilled with your wedding photographs.

Dark or difficult conditions
Your photographs will be well-lit and wonderful under any conditions.
If lighting is not ideal, I use off-camera lighting that looks soft and natural, and creates beautiful photographs that pop.
Dark venues are no problem.
I work with your plans
This is your wedding, not my photo shoot. I will work with your plans, offer guidance and suggestions, but I remain flexible to help you have the wedding and photos of your dreams. I won't pressure you in any way, and I work to make sure you have the perfect wedding you envision.

If we can't do your planned outdoor wedding portraits because of rain, you will receive a COMPLEMENTARY portrait session at a later date to get those outdoor wedding photos of you and your spouse!
Second photographer
An additional 'second' photographer is available so we never miss a moment.
The second photographer provides photojournalistic coverage, capturing more of your your candid moments and emotions.
All associate photographers have been with the team for at least 6 years.
A second photographer is not absolutely essential, especially with smaller weddings and elopements. I'll be happy to talk to you about your wedding needs and put together a wedding photography package that fits your needs and budget.

Wedding day sneak-peak slideshow
See a sneak-peak slideshow of your wedding day photographs at the reception. Given enough time you have me at your reception, I download the photos during dinner, and play a slideshow on a computer monitor during open dancing.
You and your guests will love seeing your photos that day, and you'll have piece-of-mind knowing that your photos turned out fantastic!
(Most photographers don't do this because their photos need to be 'fixed' with Photoshop before being shown.)
Engagement photographs
You can add an engagement session to any package at a discounted rate. You'll LOVE your engagement photos and can use them for save-the-date cards.
Plus, after your engagement session, you will feel more relaxed and comfortable on your wedding day, so I can capture your genuine emotions.
Jeff came highly recommended and he did not disappoint! He is very talented, creative and professional and captured our day beautifully! We are so pleased with how our photos turned out. Quick delivery
You will have your photographs within 2 weeks of your wedding!
The retouched, high-resolution images will be mailed to you on a USB drive within two weeks. Your wedding photographs will be carefully edited, retouched, ready to print, and you'll have a copyright release.
You also receive an online gallery to share with friends and family.
You deserve a dedicated professional photographer, not a 'side-hustle' photographer that makes you wait 3 months for your wedding photographs.
Printed wedding albums
A wide selection of beautiful, heirloom-quality yet affordable wedding albums are available. Printed albums can be included as part of your wedding package or purchased after your wedding.
